Teaching the essential tools of yoga and mindfulness.
For all beings to connect with their own powerful light.
I’m Kara-Lee Ruotolo and I teach kids and family yoga and mindfulness in Seattle. You will find me in Seattle public schools, studios, private homes, community centers, local parks, and on retreats teaching yoga and mindfulness. It brings me great joy to share this with the world.
My vision is for every being to connect with their own powerful light.
My mission is to invite more joy, peace, and light into the lives of children and families through mindfulness, yoga, and a deeper connection to mind, body, and spirit.
“Kara-lee welcomes her student youngsters to her classes with great joy and enthusiasm, immediately bringing comfort and delight to the kids as they arrive. It is a marvel to witness her weave play, teachings, movement, mindfulness and quiet with a group of excited kids, but she does it with levity and skill. The kids are attentive, laughing, roaring like lions, taking big deep breaths, sitting in meditative moments, singing heart full songs, and so much more. Kara-lee is a wonderful blend of a loving presence, fun fun fun, and a gifted teacher of healthy ways of being for kids. I would love for all kids to get to spend time in her classes, their lives would be brighter and our world would be kinder!”
“Its fun to do yoga with family and friends. You get to choose what you do and if you’re not comfortable with something, you don’t have to do it. It’s one of the highlights of our week. It’s a fun way to move my body. My favorite thing is yoga dance parties and partner boat with my mom. Kara Lee is fun and patient and super kind. I love family yoga!”
Family yoga is special time with my daughter and with friends. We’re getting stronger and more flexible together and we’re having fun while we do it. Every class is different – from coloring heart mandalas to hula hoops to yoga jenga, there is always something to look forward to. I leave the class feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. Kara Lee’s presence is calming and wonderful. She helps all of us feel special and makes family yoga one of our very favorite times of the week.Sandy K
